Getting it done
 

On saterday, I finally started putting in my tranny for my 1987 924S, It took about a hour to get everything all lined up and switch the tranny mounts. I was almost all the way in and noticed the d/s tranny mount wasnt lining up, so I looked closer and the tranny wasnt sitting flush agianst the mounting face. How could this be I said to my self, Then I checked to make sure the drive shafts wherent hitting and that was ok, SO I got myself out from under the car and was looking at my old tranny and noticed that there where little sleves comming out from some of the bolt holes, I recalled seeing 2 of these on the tranny I was installing and didnt think anything of it. SO I went under the car agian and with a slap in the face Thats what the problem was, There was still a sleeve installed on the bellhousing in the same hole the tranny had one, So now I need to drop the tranny and remove one of the sleves. Anyway just a little leason in paying attention to the details.
