taking r12 and r134 to UK
Guys, -
I just found out that R12 and R134 is dirt cheap where I live at the moment – Bahrain – the bad news is that I am being relocated to the UK due to the problems in Saudi Does anyone know if it is legal or illegal for me to import the stuff into the UK ? Regards, Guillaume

I don't know for sure, but if it is legal I'm sure there's a doozy of an import duty on the R-12. There's also the question of how you're getting to the UK. Taking the pressurized containers on a passenger aeroplane might be a big no-no.

The plan would be to put it in the 40 foot container with the household goods - not the best idea in the world - does anyone know if DHL or UPS can ship this ? they are 30 pound jugs - seems a waste not to take a few - AC stuff in the uk seems to be even more expensive than in the states -
