how about a NE Pelican meet soon?
There is going to be a 914 meet in central MA in a couple weeks, and that got me thinking... there hasn't been one really good, Pelican-related 944 meet yet this summer!
Last fall's timing belt party was memorable; let's do it again! Okay, maybe not timing belts, but whatever minor things need to be done. Any ideas when or where?

I liked the 'fix rammstein's car' idea somebody had suggested. I'll buy all the parts, you guys put it together, and I'll BBQ some mean chicken and burgers. I'll set up the TV in the garage and have LeMans playing, and my fiance will make cookies. And if you take your shoes off you can use the bathroom too!

Yes Everyone come to NE (nebraska, that is)! or at least stop by on your way out east. I'm literally right off the interstate! We could take a spirited drive around the lake, it'll be great.

It certainly is a bit self serving.
 But honestly, if we all wanted to meet somewhere and hang out we could surely hang out here. And if somebody felt like picking up a wrench.... I will be away the weekend of the 21st and 28th. This coming weekend (14th or 15th) I could host this event. Also, if we wanted to wait until Sept. 4 or 5. that works too. |

allporsche, i am in central CT... if you would like to meet around here (about half way to Boston) and then caravan, that would be cool.
rammstein, what part of Boston do you live in? The city proper, or a suburb/borough (Cambridge, Roxbury - i hope not - Brighton, Allston, Dorchester, Westin, Newton, etc)?

DAMNIT!! I'm out. Balance shaft belt broke and I'm gonna do the big timing belt now too well I'm at it. I doubt I'll be done in time.
