alternator not charging
 
My alternator doesn't seem to be charging. The car cranked over slow this morning and now won't start after a 15 minute drive to work.

Is the alternator externally regulated on an 87 944?

check to see if the alternator lite comes on when you turn on the key, could be a bad bulb and that will keep the batt from charging.

internally and the vr can be replaced on mine, not sure on the later one's.

Changed the reg, cleaned the terminals - all good.
