I am attempting to depressurize the fuel system on a pre-1985.5 car. I have followed the instructions to do this procedure, namely removing the fuel pump Fuse 2 on the Auxiliary Fuse Panel and run the car until it stops.
It doesn't stop even after 5 or more minutes. Am I missing something? How long should it run? |

Yeah, the blue one. In fact I took out postions 1-3 and nothing. If I have the power on and can hear the fuel pump, shouldn't it die if I remove the fuse?
Since I've removed the key-start mechanism in favor of a master power switch and push-button start, I wonder if the fuel pump is wired direct? |
