How much will this gear swap change effect performance?
 

I'm looking at buying a '90 S2 that has a LSD transmission from a Turbo S car. The stock ring and pinion on the S2 is 8:31. The transmission that came from the Turbo S is 8:27. How big of a deal is this in term of drivability on the street? Is the car going to be out of its power band?

I have not had a chance to drive it, as it is out of town.
