I know. I can stand for the wing because it serves a purpose. I've never been fond of centered exhaust, they really screwed that up. The boxster has always looked terrible too, they are fun to drive though.

i dont like the front end or the wing, but i can live with the wing because it does serve a purpose.

well I support that car entirely. Everything serves a purpose on that car. That wing and the front end arent show..they provide downforce and stability. You forget that in this car, function follows form..not the other way around. It could be ugly as hell..but if it wins races then thats all they care about.
Which is one of the reasons why half of those 'hot' body kits are just that....they look good and thats it. If im going to put anything on my car, it better serve a purpose other than 'just lookin good'..... The centered exhaust could be just looks, but I have seen in some cars that centered exhaust reduces drag because the exhaust doesnt come out the car into the air stream. Its a tiny tiny percentage that it affects anything, but you know how germans like to over engineer things...

It's not a particularly good looking car, unlike the Ferraris, but I expect it will uphold the Porsche racing tradition.

right on
every time Ferrari improves its 360 (Porsche's only real competetor in the GT class), Porsche punches back and makes the GT3 that much better. In 2003 a Ferrari team won the points standings, but Porsche GT3s had waaaaaaaaaaay more class wins (and an overall win at Daytona)
