whats the plan Jon are you rebuilding, S2 front??
Yep - I'm rebuilding the front. Should have it being taken to a welder at the weekend, so hopefully it'll be back and driveable ( alas with unpainted panels) sometime next week. I've only got parts for the Standard bumper, but I expect in a couple of years I'll replace it for the S2 bumper.

I notice you have your alternator down low from the factory. Is that bracket the same as the one with an A/C compressor there? I want to move my alternator lower for a lower CG (not to mention it cleans out the engine bay some cuse my filter is rubbing on the top of the alternator).
Well to be honest I'm not sure, but the car is covered up and it's raining outside now, so I'll check for you tomorow and let you know :~)

FYI, in order to lower the alternator to the same area the A/C was/is located in, you would need either a factory A/C delete bracket or an aftermarket one.

stupid computer. it wont load my pics for me. Anyone want to host them? Pelican says they are a tad too big.

Registry Editor 01-20-2005 04:08 AM

Hey. I'll host 'em for you. Email them jon@jverse.co.uk and I'll email you back some URL's. Limit emails to less than 1mb each so if they're 600kb send them one per email.
