Wiper Spray Nozzles

Guys,

I want to fix up the spray nozzles on my 944. All the plumbing has discoloured at the joints. Is this because they were melted onto the spray nozzles at the bonnet and the other various joints throughout the engine bay?

I was going to cut them all off and replace them with new nozzles. Anybody ever worked on these things? BTW, my car is an 87 model with the heated nozzles.

Best Regards,

IIRC the heated nozzles are about $90 EACH at the dealership. Destroy your current ones at your own peril.

Search for this on rennlist, someone posted a link to a site that sells the nozzles. I think they were $40 each for the heated ones.

Edit: Found the link. $40.

If they don't flow, check the check valves first.

And stick a pin in the actual nozzle part to unclog any crud. I got mine unplugged that way. Working fine now.
