Enthuzed1 03-28-2005 07:58 PM

you know, geniuses are the most sloppy and unorganized people.....look at einstein, he couldn't even find his way home from the store down the street.....;)

fast924S 03-28-2005 08:04 PM

I just wish I had one of those HOT ROD garages with a nice floor a lift and some dam room to do stuff

livewirevoodoo 03-28-2005 08:06 PM

all i have is an apartment parkin lot... imagine how limiting that is.

i'm envious of ur sloppy garage lol.

Looks alright to me, but I want to know about wraping your headers. I think some people love their cars a little too much! :-)

Techno Duck 03-29-2005 06:13 AM

Be happy you have a garage, my parent's house is the only one in the entire typical suburb development without one...however we are also the only with a 100 foot driveway and recessed property. Working out in the cold, rain and snow is no stranger to me!

fast924S 03-29-2005 02:25 PM

bjenkins- Header wrapping is when you wrap the header with a installating material.

IMHO, headers that are wrapped will have a short life. When I was racing my GTi, the header would almost dissolve under the wrap in two years. However.... with the way 944s' are becoming part cars left and right, I am sure you can pick a few extra sets. The under the hood temp on my GTi went down 20 F while driving, 40F at idle. I bet you could expect very good results on the 924S as well. Keep up the good work, my 24S is getting jealous...

fast924S 03-29-2005 03:26 PM

Im hoping that the Bursch headers will last but who knows, mybe I wll go and get the header Jet coated. Does seem ike you did get good results in your GTi, I would love to get theses crazy under hood temps down a little just to help performance all around.

I knew what headder wrapping is, but header wraping brought to mind something completely different.

docsafi 03-30-2005 09:35 PM

Stay the course on the build-oh how sweet when done.

How far away is the meet? Anybody interested in meeting up in CT and heading down the Merit Pkwy together?
