what size allen wrench trans

what size allen wrench do i need to buy to remove the drain & fill plugs on my trans axle.

Get one for a socket wrench, that will fit a torque wrench if you can.

I think the trans oil drain plug torque is 17 ft lb.

And, of course, remove the fill plug first, so that you don't end up with a dry trans if you can't remove the fill plug...

I took a old spare wheel bolt (17mm) from the 924 and welded it into a cheap 1/2 drive socket.
