asthetically, the front exterior is definitely not my thing... looks like the car is smiling at you. a little to happy for my tastes. interior is nothing serious.. i dont care for the cassette box color, but thats easily remedied. interesting minty green color. are those kinesis rims?

I really dont like the color, It reminds me of easter which isnt a bad thing but its a sports car not a easter egg, I think if it was a different color and if you sprayed the black mesh/vents on the front of the car the same color it would look to bad

I like the color, love the interior, but... hate the front end and would lose the reflector in the back. It at least *looks* like it's been taken care of.

I looked at a 944 that color last year. it is definatly different and not something you will see everyday. That said, there is a reason why you dont see it every day, its not really a great color. The front looks like something that "seemed like a good idea at the time"

The paint color will grow on you. It varies from silver to blue, to green depending on the light.
It is supposedly a rare color. I have only seen four this color including this one. A friend of mine had one, but he totaled it, a guy named wolfrpi from this board had a 951, and the one in my driveway. The paint code is LM6Y

Yes there are pics, but I don't know where they are, and I haven't cleaned her up yet for summer. She still has her cover on.
It is a factory color. As far as I know, they only used it on 944/951's for the 85 and 86 years. I have also seen one 911 this color. It works better on the 944 body than the 911. The 944's lines are a bit sharper, especially over the rear fenders, so you get a little of the color change there. Granted though, it's not for everyone.

I've seen that color on 914's also, but I don't know if it's an original color for a 914. I like it a lot, it's very unique.

The colour is called "Crystal Green". I used to have one of these while living in the US. It was an 86 NA. Most beautiful 944 I've ever seen. And that is a fact, not an opinion. Here she is:
 The colour is a bit subtle for the web photos, but if you see one of these in real life, nothing else will ever look good to you again. Which is why Porsche stopped doing it. Everyone was complaining that they loved the colour of their car until they saw a Crystal Green 944, and now it haunts them in their dreams, and all they get is a cold, clammy feeling of ennui and existential disappointment when looking at their red, black or white car. -Mark
