944 Sighting!

So im putting along playing this game "Forza Motorsport" for my xbox, and LO and BEHOLD whats that i see? A 944 Turbo in the game!! holy crap. I know most of you are too old for such trivial persuits as Xbox and Video games, but this is the first game i've ever ran across that has included a 944 in the porsche domain. They usually just throw in the 911 and be done with it. Of course i spend the 29k that it cost to purchase it, and now, I own my very first 951! woo hoo.

Does anyone know why Gran Turismo 4 doesn't seem to have list any Porsches (or Ferraris for the matter) ?...I haven't actually bought the game yet (for that reason, sadly enough)

I totally disagree with that one, but I guess everyone has their preference. I just love the games and versatility that Xbox offers. I know once I get my next paycheck this game will be mine. Or maybe I can ask for the game, a steering wheel and the pedals as one of my college graduation presents

ps2 doesn't even come CLOSE to xbox. Can you mod your ps2 and install a 250 gig hdd? How about ripping your entire dvd and game collection? Last i checked, ps2 lUsers still had to load the games by hand. pfft... that's for n00bs.

on top of that - you can turn your xbox into an entire media center... to play divx, and mp3's straight off the harddrive... and put a mame emulator onto it and play oldschool arcade games like outrun, street fighter, and pacman (just to name 3 of about 2000).

Arguement: "oh, but you have to put a mod chip into the xbox to do all that!!!:

no, you dont... my xbox doesn't have a mod chip, and it does everything already listed in this thread through it's "soft mod".....

oh, and xbox users can play online for free thanks to xbconnect

Ive done it to my roomates PS2, so ya its possible, just a little more trickey than the 4-5 Xbox's ive done it too. And about that clutch pedal, did you try installing new wheel bearings... sometimes that helps

EA Games owns the right to the "Porsche" name. A few years back they made "Need For Speed : Porsche Unleashed" which did feature a 944. Porsche's can be found in GT4 under the "RUF" category.

I'm on level 21 of the game now. If you race the circuits you get 20k points minimum. awesome game... I can't stop!
