Front Bumber Question

Recently I decided that i would eventually have my car painted. Then I decided that it would be wise idea to buy a new front bumber before I have the car painted. So I was just hoping that everyone might post opinions on what the best front bumber is for an earlier 85 944. Ive seen a couple that look nice but Id greatly appreciate the feedback. Please post pics if you know of any...Oh and Ive also heard of Gemballa front bumbers on many of the eurospec 944's....any ideas...?

I dont know of that many diffrerent front bumpers, You got the Euro's wich are sweet, you got stock, and you got stock fiberglass. I havent seen any more gamblla body kits for the 944 in a long time, Im not sure they still make them

Well I found a bumber that i really like the looks of and the price as well....I found it at

http://www.gt-racing.com/catalog/default.htm

part #- 241 and Im guessing 241A too right?

Im not sure and I was hoping someone knew...Would that bumber and front spoiler just bolt right up to my car?
I know i would need to change the position of the driving lights, but other than that...?

Im kind of new to this fiberglass stuff so if anyone has any idea just please let me know.

Oh and by the way my car is an early 85 N/A with a stock front end.

GT Racing sells good stuff. It is made for racing, and will take some minor sanding/shaping/reworking to fit. That's normal for fiberglass parts. Most race cars have poor gaps between panels. That's also normal. If you're looking for show-car quality, plan on spending some time to get things properly lined up.

There is a lot of prep work that you need to do to fit a GT-racing bumper on your car. You need a good bodyshop to fit it on, and they will need to be able to do some custom fab work.

You will also need german turn signal lenses, and euro driving lights.

Look at this thread for details on someone that has installed that bumper and knows the issues that go along with it.

And THAT is an improvement! But you can still see the gaps between the body panels.
