Removing center consol?

How do you remove it?

I need to fix a whole bunch of stuff there, bad connections on the clock light, all of the slides for the heat, and the fog light switch.

I see there are 2 screws on the front but I know more than that needs to come out to remove the plastic covers...

i think there are 4 more. there are 2 screws buried in the tacky carpet on each side in foot well area. pull out your ash try and there are two more in there.

when you pull the console out and remove other stuff pay attention to the positioning (folding/packaging) of the wires and small lamps. they will need to go in as they came out since there is not much room to work. disconnect your battery!

There are two screws near the top on either side (facing each door - not sure if that's clear) that you'll need a 90 degree screwdriver to get. Very tricky. I left them out when I reinstalled. www.clarks-garage.com may have more info. Try to fix everything in one go... ask me why...
