oil cooler gasket, replacement required?
How long does the oil cooler gasket last? Must it be replaced after 22 years?

I would definitely leave it alone. If it starts leaking then replace it. You will know because you will have oil in your reservoir. It is a headache to fix-trust me. It will eventually give though. I pulled mine off thinking that it would need to be replaced soon anyway and it was very black/brittle. It won't hurt to fix it when it gives you a problem though.
