944 turbo brake upgrade
thinking of doing a big red brake upgrade on my '88 951 track car.
my understanding is that this will make them equivalent to 993 turbo brakes. i know i need to also upgrade to 17" wheels to accomadate the brakes. any other words of wisdom or caution from anyone who may have done this? also, not that i necessarily agree but, i have heard some people question drilled vs non-drilled rotors. mainly stating things like with the newer brake compounds the drilled aren't really need ed to release the heat build up gases that formed with some of the older compounds. also that drilled rotors may cause uneven pad wear.....

Maybe a more simple up grade could be a 928S4 set up as the 89'
951 has, plenty of 928 part cars out there. just a thought Russell
