Should I?
hey everyone, as you know, i blew my transmission and i am definitely going to get a used one......i have an 87 NA and i've decided to try to get an S transmission, because the r&p gears are stronger and the gearing will work for my car.....
so i came along this, what do you guys think?

Check around locally for a trans. Easier to return a bad one.

If you can afford it.. I think the S2 has an even stronger R&P.. not sure if the S actually does.

IIRC, the S has the 951 R&P, so it would be fine. The gears in the S2 are too tall for an NA.
