Towing a 944
I have the half shafts out of the car. Can the car be towed with the half shafts out of the car?
I need to tow the car about 5 miles, but not sure if this can be done with the axle shafts out of the car. |

I'm not sure, but to be safe, pay the extra 15 bucks or so (that's what it is here) and use a flat bed......

Yes, you can tow without the half shafts.

I would say that it is safer, as the transaxle won't be moving if you tow it with the rear wheels down.
