Proof positive that socks can ONLY be used to repair watercooled Porsches without any problems.

And yes, I carry a pair of socks in the glove compartment of both of mine.

HOLY LIVING *****, that is an unbelievable coincidence!

For those that weren't around at the time, the original socks tales begat the mantra, "every time you fail to tension your belts properly (or socks), God kills a kitten."

that is priceless.

Thats freaking crazy. I guess people just keep extra socks around for stuff like that. All I know is I barely have enought socks for my feet so I guess I will have to fix my car the right way (for now) http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/lol2.gif http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/shake.gif

Awesome.

That's hilarious. Reminds me of my once brother-in-law leaving a rag up on the crankshaft of his newly rebuilt engine. You can now imagine the rest of that story. There must be other sock stories; please provide link for more laughs.
