Power Saratoga Top

My g/f just called me and located what she believes to be a power saratoga top for a 944. My understanding is that these were only available as manual sunroofs.

Anyone have some info? A power saratoga at the price mentioned ($300) would be incredible....

A power saratoga top? I've never heard of such a thing... I have pics of my manual saratoga somewhere. What the heck is a power one?

A top for a powered sunroof as opposed to a manual sunroof.

if any of the higher-up posters don't want it I'd be interested.

Personally for the price I'd snap it up. if it turns out to be for a manual roof you could still probably make $1-200 selling it on fleabay.

Oh... okay. I was picturing some kind of frankenstein saratoga with weird mechanical parts added on.

I'll (hopefully) find out the specifics later this evening. My g/f works at the dealer, I believe someone came in with a 968 and they mentioned the power saratoga either they or someone they knew had. When her and I spoke (briefly) during work she mentioned two or three saratogas ranging from $300 to $600 in price. I'll ask some more and follow up.

Straying off the subject slightly.... Any disadvantage to going with used e-brakes (about 60k on them).. From a wreck. The person is asking $50 for the complete assembly (all four shoes, springs, etc etc)..?

they certainly made saratoga tops for power roofs, not just manual.
