Removing Original Radio
 

Hi,
I am trying to remove the original Blaupunkt Monterey radio and am having some trouble. I have read an old thread that recomended inserting nails into the 4 front holes to push the spring retainers away but the radio still wont budge. Any help?

Goto NAPA or basically any autostore and ask for a Ford radio removal kit. It makes life alot easier. They are no more than $10. It should have two U-shaped pieces of round metal which have notches cutout on the end.
