FRWilk > everything else and i only have the shudder fix, FR, spring is coming, i will be ordering my powerprom soon SmileWavy |
moreover, there have been about 3 years-worth of discussion about FRWilk's Power Prom, and its benefits (which add up to more than just improved performance). I'm sure a search will bring a lot of this up.

Yes, I'd prefer to get Lay'ed.

get Wilk's chip. Be prepared to wait awhile.
I've waited since late last year. Sent my money and got no word back. Sent requests for receipt confirmation and no reply. I understand he had some t-belt issues and some web-hack issues but I think I deserve a note asking for patience. A couple of folks have replied to my other posts to support Wilk as a stand up guy but I'd like to see him stand up now. Puxsatawney Phil says six more weeks of winter but I'd prefer to have my chip before spring, ya? I'm not mad, really. But I am into customer service. I can't wait to get his HFM5. (I may have to.) |
Hmm. When I bought his chip, Wilk gave me outstanding customer service when I ran into a speedbump during installation.
|
yea, and he was totally understandable with me... allowing me to pay him half at time of order to reserve my adapter board, and then a couple months later the other half.... all while keeping communication alive..
I have no idea where he is... have you tried to email him directly? |
I'll give it a shot. I tried once about a month ago but I think that's when he was on vacation.
Thanks again. |
