x3m944,
I see you are in Orlando. Do you have a shop? My 944 is arriving Monday, I may have to come by and see you if you do. Thanks!

I am sorry but the shop is not open to the public. More than happy to meet you for lunch or talk on the phone, look at your car, etc...
I will be at Sebring this coming weekend for the HSR races. But otherwise we can figure something out. You can also email or visit the website.

Hey guys sorry for the miss post. The tuner kinda looks like the one Im running, I like the setup alot, just wish I had laptop programming, I have to retune every couple of months when temps change. I also need to install a wideband.
Its a good setup just wish it was better. Now if Only I could gain control of fuel and timming without going stand alone ;-)

Fast, as stated we carry Split Second stuff, but favor the MAFTUNER.
Also have some solutions for timing and fuel control. Lots of possibilities... not all are stand alone. You might be surprised, depends on application, also stand alone isn't as expensive as one might suspect. Your car seems prepared for boost... so where is the boost... Adjustable fuel pressure... MAF.... just add a turbo or SC and you are set...(note that is an over simplification - its not that simple, but not that complex).

We need to talk abot the solutions you have for fuel and timming controls

The beauty is it can be used on on any car - to upgrade, replace, supplement, etc... both digital and analog signals can be replaced and adjusted - just depends on the control unit.
I am jazzed about it!

Depends - it is not really a power adder - but does allow you to tweak fuel - it also is less restrictive than the AFM -
It would be similar to chipping without the chip - because you get a precise reading and can tweak the whole fuel/air readings... If used with just stock AFM style settings - the gain would me minimal -if you tweaked fuel - you could see more. Take a look at my post on the 1st page for more information. The unit really shines when you add other mods - exhaust, cam, head work, etc... The one thing above all else it gives you is tune-ability!

Eldorado - Basically the MAF kit will give you some performance and come loaded with the 944 NA file.
You would have to drive one to note the difference - or dyno it. In anycase the unit can be loaded with any file and from their you can always tweak it. Of course you would want an accurate Fuel/Air meter for tweaking... so you can see the difference, cure flat spots, etc

No worries my friend just let me know if you have other questions, not worried about sales, more into answering your questions. But thank you.
We need to cook up some boost for that 83 of yours.... now that would be fun.

So I got with a bud and tested some - on his NA - better throttle response, he is convinced it is making a difference in power, I am remain a skeptic till I can see the difference on a dyno - but seemed to accelerate a lot better and a much better idle - which was surprising.
Test Vehicle 87 924S. Mods = MSDS Header, MAF Setup for testing - ported throttle body - strange but yes he ported it. Port matched Intake, TB and HEAD. 50 HP Nitrous kit - Wet Kit - with my trade mark Carbon Fiber Bottles. Cheater System - as in you cant find it or see it. Anyway - sooner or later he wants to get on the dyno and test all his mods and the Nitrous when that day comes we will test with and without the MAF. Till then I believe it may add some HP at the Flywheel - but driveline losses would eat a lot of the power up before it makes it to the wheels. His G-tech did measure improved numbers - so their is something gain, but I am not going to claim anything specific. I can only say I saw a diffence on my car and on his if the readings are correct. A dyno will tell the tale for solid numbers. I still believe that claiming a specific gain is not a good thing - as results would surely varry from one car to the next. If it makes an improvement and it will by all accounts then I think it is worth the effort to convert as it does add a lot of tune-ability to your car. Also - the 80mm units are on a 3 week back order - So I am upgrading the unit to a 85mm for free (50 dollar value) this is the same as the turbo stage I size.
