Vacuum line help needed

I could really use some help with my vacuum line situation.

I had the head redone and have everything put back together. It runs very rough and I think it is a vacuum line. It idles at the correct RPM but not very smoothly. It seems to smooth out when the RPMs increase. I,ve double checked all the connections. I'm fairly certain I have them right (I have the shop manual) but not 100%.

Can anyone tell me where and how much vacuum I should have at the various connections?

Thanks

Alos check the diagram in the silver sticker on the passenger side front fender in the engine compartment.

I checked the diagram under the hood. As far as I can tell it looks right. What I don't understand is that it ran fine just before the head gasket went bad. I'm having a tough time trying to figure out which each vacuum line does and which one could be the culprit. I may just replace all of them.

What would be helpful would be a better diagram that showed actual positions or maybe some good pictures. Or maybe something with a discription of how each vacuum operated component worked. If I get this figured out I may have to do that.

Does anybody have anything like that?

If you can't find a vacuum leak you should check to see if the cam timing was set correctly. If the timing belt is 1 tooth off it could cause this condition.

I got it! Thanks for your help guys. Here is what I found:

Balance shaft timing off 1 tooth on top side.

Vacuum line clamp loose on idle control valve under the manifold.

#3 fuel injector connection not making very good contact.

She purrs like a kitten!

Thanks again. I don't think I could keep this car going without this board.
