968 Check engine code 1223
 

My 1992 968 has a check engine light that comes and goes. code is 1223 that is "Oxygen regulator

Anyone got any ideas what this means and where to start diagnosing this issue ?

Personally, I'd re-ask the question over on 968.net or 968forums since blink codes are particular to the 968 (not on any other 944-variants).

O2 Sensor Mebbe? Perhaps the computer is getting a faulty reading from the MAF? What are the symptoms? I second 968forums.com, there is a good sized VERY active 968 community there. If you are in SoCal, some folks may help you figure it out and fix it for the mere cost of a few top shelf brewskis.
