How to remove the front lower valance

It's finally time for me to remove the front valance under the bumper and fix the bent brackets holding it up.

Has anyone removed one before, and if so, how hard are they to take off? Are there any hidden bolts, etc?

Thanks :)

I have a 84 944, its just a few bolts on the ends and 2 in the middle I think, very easy.

describe where please? "ends" and "middle" dont tell me much...

Its been a few weeks and it was the first time I have taken one off. Just above the signal indicators there should be 3 bolts that join the valence to the fender with a metal flat spacer.

Basically dead center there was 2 bolts. If you have splash shields they have to come off. Take the ends off first or have some help because when you get ready to take it off, it will twist and rip the mount holes. Im no auto wrecker and it was easy.

My first time, I just got under the car and started loosening nuts. Popped the side marker lights out, and had it laying on the ground in a few minutes.

Thanks for the heads-up guys :)

how are the mounts supposed to "look" by the fog lights? Do they come straight out or are they different shapes?
