Does this exists?

I was wondering what the ultimate 944 to run against the other cars, miatas and MR2s in E-stock and here's what I came up with.

'89 944
M030
LSD

It's got more power than the other year 944 and should have the best of the suspension and then of course max out tires and other thing but I mean just as a starting point. Is this car out there? Could you get an 89 w/ M030 etc? Any other options to look for?

The only advantage of an 89 over an 88 is the extra .2 liters of displacement. I guess that makes it more "ultimate" than the 2.5l cars, but I suspect you could make up the difference with a good port and polish job, indexed plugs, etc. As the owner of an 89 2.7NA, I can say that the 2.5 cars don't really feel much different to me.

But I can't do that and run E-stock. Don't they make like an extra 15-20 hp or something like that.

According to Porsche, the 88 makes 158 HP @5900RPM whereas the 89 makes 162 @5800RPM. Compressions is raised from 10.2:1 to 10.9:1
You can't index plugs in E-stock?

You can probably do that but no P&P. You can't touch the engine's internals.

What about the tq on the 89's? I'm looking for every legal atvantage that I can.

Get a Euro DME installed in the 89, it has more aggresive fuel and timming maps, but you might have to run higher octane fuel
