951 Parking brake adjust help

951 P brake lever goes to the roof before brakes grab. Following shop manual instructions which say to put screw driver into hole in rear brake disc and turn adjuster, I looked in there with flashlight but can't see anything to adjust with the screwdriver - stumped, any help appreciated.

Just checked Clark's garage website, same procedure outlined. I can see inside the hub just fine - I see springs and the like for the drum brake but nothing to adjust with a screwdriver. Thanks again.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Rotate the hub putting the large hole at the top. Use a flash light. You should see the "star" edge on. You need to move it's lugs up to tighten the shoe brakes. Adjust till you can't rotate the hub then back off till there is no scraping noise from the shoes. Might be a bit of pad scraping.
