Unhappy Come on guys, help a brother out of the garage

Stuck in garage and can't get out!!!!

I have it running at least, the problem is it takes about 1/2 mile to get up to 50mph.

Checking the injectors, (removing the plug wile running) Only #2,#3 affect the running. #1,#4 make no change in running.

Things so far
1. compression good All four
2. spark good ALL four (new coil, plugs, cap and rotor)
3. injectors cleaned
4. swapped #1 and #2 inj , problem stays on 1and 4
5. Checked signal via scope to injectors ALL look the same and ok (close to sample in memory)
6. I had a problem with the flywheel ref sensor screw in a previous post. I checked the output of both sensors via the scope. Both look ok.

Any ideas?

Help ,,,, its driving me nikin futs to get this close.

Haven't you heard the 944 is an endangered species.
Help put one more back on the road.
I promise ill feed it, get its shots, take it for drives. I 'll even put my other cars in the rain and let it have the garage. Come on Porsche gods let me have it.

No I cant do that,

They would find the one little wire or the one little fuse or something. And I would go postal!

I did call a Porsche mech in Memphis. They $190.00 per hour no promise of fixing it. I called another mech that said he had worked on 944s. He said $150.00 per hour and also no promise of fixing.

Remove the fuel rail from the car, get 4 little bottles, and point one injector into each. Have a friend crank the car while you hold this together, and watch for spray from each injector.

If #1 and #4 don't affect the car's performance then I think you will find that they are not firing, or are spraying much less/less often than the others.

Perhaps this is a problem with the fuel injection harness? Aren't they wired in pairs from a common injection driver?

If all 4 are spraying equally then check for spark. When I say that I mean check plug order, and remove each plug wire one at a time and connect it to a spare spark plug. Lay the plug on the cam tower, intake manifold, something metal that is attached to the engine, and watch for spark at the plug.
You could try starting it with each of the plugs disconnected one at a time, see if it makes a difference. It might narrow down where your problem is.
Check for bad plug wires as well.

When it runs, how does it run? Does it idle well?

OMG
YOU SAID ORDER, That made me think I had not really checked that again since I changed the rotor. It turns out I had it backwards or something on the rotor.

I CAN"T BELIEVE IT WAS THAT, HOW COULD I MISS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I feel so stupid.

It runs GREAT now, a little fast idle, about 1400.

So next to fix is fast idle
Blower always blows hot
Cold start problem.
Timing belts

IF AAMCO had found that oh,,,,,,,,,

My first real power drive in Porsche SWEEEEEEETTTTTTTT

Easy to do. Another common mistake is to leave all of the wires connected to the cap, but install it upside-down. Does that make them backwards?... It's late and I can't think.

Good to hear you got that sorted out
