Question Transmission Leak

How is this for a scenario?
Car is driven for a week, fairly much once a day. (The transmission replaced the weekend before I bought it).
It sits from Thursday until Sunday, and a leak appears under the tranny, slow drip down the drive way.
Driven the next day and no leak. Heat expansion of the drain screws?

Just a guess but I'm thinking not. I have no explanation as to why it would leak one day and not the next though unless it was too ful and leaking out a vent or something like that.

If you over fill them does it cause internal damage? cause I know on regular cars overfilling could be very bad.

Doesn't cause damage but it keeps the seals in oil and they sometimes leak when the oil is too high
