seat removal - 1983 porsche

I must be loose in it but how in the world do you remove the M10 bolts that attach the seat to the car. I have tried a socket, closed end wrench, open wrench. I actually removed 2 out of 8. What am I missing!

I use a thinwall deep dish 1/4" drive. You have to take out the rears first then the seat will move far enough back to get the fronts out.
