just thought this was a little funny...

just thought this was a little funny..
guy in the Cars for sale forum with a late 944 "project" car for $1200 says:

"Now for the not so good
needs new timing belt-- Timing belt went out about a month when I was accelerating to merge onto the expressway. It did not jump time, but rather the belt snapped so the engine is still ok."

Hey
I've got a used timing belt, it only has 50,000 k's on it. Ill let it go for $5 plus postage. It was fine when I changed it last month, put the 2 together and you can save some real cash.

Any takers

"I would be happy to show the car to anyone interested and I can deliver within several hundred miles for the gas fee."

Ouch! Tow trucks don't get very good gas mileage, 'cause the car's definitely not going too far. LOL. Oh man! That's crazy...
