Cen-Pe-Co oil. I forget the viscosity but its on the bottles.10W 40 I think? Regular dino juice.

It's what's been put in it since it was new, and I'm not going to play around with that.

I installed Mobile 1 20/50 on my son's daily driver '84 944 shortly after we bought the car last fall. Everything was fine through the winter, time to change it again soon. No leaks and when I check the oil it is still slightly amber not black like the dino oil. This car has 57,000 original miles and is the envy of all the 17 year olds around.

Well I just found out something interesting with oil and my 44. Since I put the car back in one piece I was running Castrol 20w50. I have faith in the stuff, all of my BMW's have existed on the stuff, and I have had 0 problems, and the inside of my engines look new.............even after 200k. Good stuff.
I recently chamged to M1 15w50 in the 44, in a last chance attempt to quiet my cam followers. (my springs are a little stiff) I noticed my engine temps are 10deg. lower with the M1 than the Castrol GTX.
I also use M1 in the 911 and the MB. I'm keeping the GTX in the BMW.
