Alright, thus far I have now power to the fuel pump when hooked up and cranking the motor, also no power when the relay is replaced with jumpers and cranked. So I think there is a lack of power either before the DME (between DME and battery) or after the DME (between DME and fuel pump). As mentioned before I checked the fuse, checked it again today just for the fun of it. Other than what I have mentioned is there any fueses or fuseable links or anything either before or after the DME relay? I read my wiring schematic and I couldn't find anything other than the DME relay and 15 amp fuse in the circuit. However, I am not good at reading schematics. My prime suspect is a cluster of wires that bolts to the main positive battery lead at the battery, they look pretty corroded. They need fixed anyways, so that's my next shot.

Welp, been workin on the 944 some more tonight. I'm not getting any voltage to the fuel pump, the short seems to be after the DME and fuse. However, I don't get any resistance for the whole circuit (from fuse to fuel pump). I read an induced voltage of about 3v when the key was OFF. When the key was turned to the on position the induced voltage was lost and I read 0v. I'm thinking O2 sensor short, as they share the same hot wire.

It's alive! Traced the whole fuel pump line a didn't detect anything awry with the wiring on the ohm meter, just came up with no voltage. I finally tracked it down, under the dash some one in the past has installed a fuel pump shut off toggle switch. My foot must have bumped it while driving and shut my pump down. So the problem is solved. Thanks everyone for your help. Now for the transaxle....
