Happy Day!
Well here's the story... Today I got out and drove my 87 944 for the first time!!! I love this car!!! I bought this car back in August not running and without a trans and have been struggling to find time to work on it. I've even struggled with almost selling this car twice but stuck it out and am glad I did! Thanks to everyone here for all of your Tech info and for making this possible.

congratulations! i fixed a vacuum leak on my car today, runs much differently! unfortunately, i had to replace the brake booster to get it done, and along with it the blue hose that goes to the clutch master. it feels great to drive your car after making difficult repairs!!!
