Transparent Porsche
Anyone have a high resolution digital image of the transparent 944 that Porsche published on the cover of owner’s manuals? I have access to large format printers and would like to make a poster out of it. The one below is too low quality.

... what size are you going to make?

Back home I have several books with cutaways of I believe the turbo, the S, and the NA. Pretty high resolution. I am in Arizona until Wednesday though. I can get some scans when I get back though. Also have a ~400 page book on the 911 with cutaways of pretty much every single major evolution of the 911 from it's conception to the 996 I think.

The result of a quick google search, not hi-res by any means, but larger at least.

I’ll play around with some of the images but they must be high-res to get good quality when enlarged and sent to the printer. Within reason I’m happy to provide posters simply for the cost of shipping, just need ample time. I can print them any size up to E-size (44x36 inches I believe). Keep the images coming and I’ll let you know which ones come out good.

Ok I have some images. I don't know how to put them up on here though. lol Send me your email Randy and I'll send them to you. One is of an engine and 2 are transparent Porsches. One is really big but will need touched up into Photoshop. I had to put together 2 images as my Dad's scanner wasn’t big enough to do two pages. Hmmmm. I could try the scanner at work tomorrow....

Just to be a complete pedant, I believe that E-size is 30x42 (or actually slightly larger, but that is the closest inch size.)

Yea, I have all the images above in super high res. I am flying back to St. Louis tomorrow, I will definitely scan them in, they are really cool images. I wonder who did them, considering back then there was no such thing as computer renderings..
