Techron, opinions?

I recently used Techron in my tank and noticed an improvement in throttle response.

Anyone else used it and noticed this, or do you think it's unrelated and just "snake oil"?

Interested in opinions

If your injectors are clogged, then of course you will see an improvement in throttle response, smooth revving, and smooth idle. As a matter of fact, I believe that Techron is the only fuel additive that Porsche recommends...

I put Techron in my cars' system about twice a year, once in spring, once in fall.

Your car really has 230K+ miles? That's really impressive and very good news. What major repairs have you had to perform?

Hi,

Glad I'm not "hurting" anything using Techron

Actually, my car is around the 300,000 mark now.

At 200k it had a full rebuild - major work since then include new injectors/fuel rail, miscellaneous starter problems, solved by eventually getting a brand new starter (went through 2 "rebuilt" starters first), broken A/C mount, several loose bolt/nut issues that were literally due to shaking from a balance shaft belt that was off 2 teeth.

Mostly stupid stuff....and this annoying rear vibration I have that I can actually feel now the engine is smooth lol
