quick cluster gauge question

I have my steering wheel removed and all the screws removed, i just cant pull out the gauge cluster far enough to remove the wires that are holding it in. any other way i can reach the wires?

You can reach up under the dash and disconnect the connectors and speedometer cable. You will probably have to get on your back and look straight up.

Have to take the top cover off of the turn signal switch unit. Be careful not to strip the screws or break the cover.

my computer is blocking me from reaching up there. but i was able to see that i have enough wire slack to pull it out, so what else would be holding me in? i have already removed the steering wheel and switch unit.

stiff speedo cable i'd imagine.. or if someone installed a dash cap, it could be blocking it.

there are two screws on he left and right clusters (top)...
the DME isn' really blocking... you have to reach up between the DME and the driver's side door... up and around.. I tried it and found it to be quite simple..

try pushing the cable for the speedo through the firewall a little more from the engine bay to give you more slack.

pull the computer. 4 screws, one clip. this will make your life a lot easier. undo the speedometer cable from underneath.
