Garage
fuel filter

The inlet end (toward the tank) has a brass fitting. You need 2 wrenches to break the hose fitting from the brass fitting on the filter. The outlet end needs two wrenches also. One on the filter, the other on the flared fitting.

The inlet on mine was a b***h to get off. I finally had to replace the hose from the pump to the filter. I rounded the the points on the brass fitting on the hose using a flared wrench. Not a cheap item to replace. The outlet end of the filter was very easy.

In the end, I am glad I replaced the hose, it needed replacing.

Good luck.
