Was just wondering if any of the usual NNJ/Metro people are going to heading down to Hershey this year. Its April 28th (saturday). As long as it dosent rain i will be heading down with a few other people from Rennlist on saturday morning. The idea so far is to meet up around 5am in Nanuet, NY and arrive around 8am (3 hour ride).
Check out the Rennlist thread http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/showthread.php?t=344606&page=1&pp=15 Six people for the caravan so far.

Heh heh, yea. I am not a morning person at all. I wake up every morning around 6am for PT or 7am for formation during the week. Its rough as it is!
It would be great to meet some of you guys while at Hershey, maybe we can come up with a meeting location or something. I am pretty sure Rennlist will have a tent setup. Worse comes to worse, it should be easy to recognize my car, its the red one . But seriously, look for the #14 in the 1/4 windows and the 30 or so mango tree air fresheners hanging from the roll bar in the back....thats mine .

I'll see you there.
I guess I'm meeting all of you as you come down I78 PA in Allentown. It's going to be fun driving with a bunch of other 944's. (why so many air freshners?)

I'm throwing this question out there to anyone who reads this...
When it comes to racing, auto-x, de, or any other car related race I am a complete and total newbie. When it comes down to the Hershey event, I have no clue what the hell I am doing. I will be going over my cars ins and outs over the next few weeks and making sure everything is in tip-top shape for that day. I heard/read that there will be some kind of auto-x event... Any advice?

There is an auto-x on sunday, saturday is the swap meet.
All you need probably are a helmet (rentals probably available) and clean your car out of any loose items, EZPass...etc. Other than that, some tape for numbers and your set.
