Fuel Level

I want to install a new fuel guage in my 1989 944 S2.
Per Clark's Garage, I know that the existing Fuel Sender provides 64 - 3 Ohm resistance (empty - full).
I need either a gauge that can read that range, or I need to replace the sender for a new range.
To pick a Fuel Sender I need -what? - the height of the fuel tank?
Has anyone done this and can recommend a either a gauge or a Sender/Gauge combo?
