Badge panels
Guys,
Am i right in thinking the front badge panel off a pre-oval dash 944 will fit a 924? And were they bolt on rather than welded on?

early cars were welded. you'll have to drill out the spot welds, then replace them with bolts.
not sure if it'll fit the 924

Kyle is right!! The nose panel on the early 944s is spot welded onto the car. Many, many , many spot welds. To remove the panel: you need to remove the bumper and begin the laborious task of drilling out all of the welds.
How do I know this?? I replaced my panel and replaced it with a late model (bolted on) panel.
