Nology Hotwires
I received a set of Nology Hotwires with a recent purchase of a 1990 944 S2 I am restoring. ("such a deal I have for ju!")
My questions are: a) Can anyone who has installed these detail their experience/benefits/drawbacks? b) Do they really create more noise in the audio system as the instructions suggest they may? c) If so on b), has anyone been succesful at suppressing that noise, and how? d) Since it looks like I would have to take off the strut brace to install the 2nd cylinder cable, is the benefit worth the hassle? I don't race this car, but would obviously enjoy performance benefits. Let me know your thoughts. TL |

They're spark plug wires... Unless your old ones are worn to the point that they don't function, you won't see any gains.

i used them on my '83. they worked fine. i used the nuts on the fuel rail to mount the suppression cables. with the braided cables grounded, i didn't notice any extra noise to the stereo.
