Anti Seize on intake manifold bolts - good or bad?
I am about to reassemble my intake manifold after doing a venturi delete. I know that the bolts (the 8 socket head cap screws) can often be hard to remove. Does it make sense to use anti-seize on them to ease the task next time? Is there any risk to doing so?
Thanks in advance.

No risk. Check and retorque after a few hundred miles. The problem with antiseize is it makes it very easy to over torque fasteners especially in our butter soft aluminum blocks / heads. Generally there is a specific value you should add for anti-seized fasteners (in addition to the factory #). I am not a fan of having to over torque anything on the aluminum block or head personally. Helicoils are easy to do, but i dont like them that much.

I don't use anti-seize but I normally add a little bit of blue loctite. Those bolts like to back out.
