Beware sell "pombal007" on evilbay!!

He is currently parting a Porsche 944 automatic on ebay. I bought a center console from him but it turned out to be trash. I shipped it back and now he is accusing me of playing a switch -er -roo on him and returning a different console.

He lives in Linden , NJ and his name is Paul Domingues.

Sheesh - just want my money back as the item was not as he described. Here are a couple responses back from him for your reading enjoyment...

Received 10/17/07
"Hi, I have received the part just a few minutes ago... This is not my part. I told you I marked my part but I did not need to even check the mark, this is a console from a 87 and up...What are you trying to pull, I sell Porsce parts and Iam very knowlegeable on them. There are 3 types of console 83-85.5 85.5-87 and the other that you sent me that has 3 grooves by the armrest pc. Mine is flat no grooves, look at the pics from my listing. Ebay has copies of my listing as due I, give me your email address, I will send you the pic I took of the part you sent me back, compare it to my listing pic from ebay. I will send you both. After looking over the pics you let me know whos scaming who. I will go to ebay to report this problem if i dont hear from you. I dont want any problems, but dont cheat me, Iam not stupid."

Received 10/18/07
"Iam not talking about the 2 notches on the top, thats minimal..Iam talking about the console itself. This one you sent me has 3 ridges that are only seen in a diff model car. I noticed it rite away. Also, this one you sent me the underside is wriped, and has a marking like from a junkyard. This part does not have the original hot pink nailpolish dot I put. I dont want any trouble, I will send you pics of the one you sent me and compare it to the listing pic. The difference jumps out at you. pls give me your email address and i will send the pics over. Thanks! Paul"

"hi, these are the pics, i will send to the dispute resolutions center as well. thanks, paul Look at the first

3 pics, on your box. The last pic is from ebay listing. Pls dont try to lie about it. Either give me my part back or dont ask for the money. This part you sent me is from a junkyard, my part came out of a car I parted out. look at the last 2 months of porsce parts they are all from the same year car. this part you sent me is not even from the same year. I have sold over 30 porsce parts in the last 2 months from the same car. LOOK at my feedback, I sent parts that sold over 250.00 Maybe you are mistaking and bought a part from someone else and think its mine?? LOOK IT OVER..I would never ever sell a part to someone in this condition. This part is tour up."

New flash to him, the 85.5 and up consoles are all the same... ya, maybe.... Unless it is a well hidden secret that there are two different types of late model consoles... Cause in all my time doing research on 944's I have never heard of this. It changed in the 85.5 model and that is it. This guy sounds like an idiot.

Doesn't help that he can't take the time to spell Porsche right as you can see in the first message up there...

Just Porsche? How's about "rite" "iam", wrong use of the word "due". I don't even know what the hell "wriped" means....

Sorry to hear about this Josh. Yeah, love the spelling too! And who marks parts before they sell them with hot pink nail polish? WTF? Thanks for the heads up.

Yep - he is very confused.

When he sent me the console the worthless lower half of the cassette tray/armrest hinge was still on there. I accidentally trashed that and the garbage man came before I could retrieve it. I sent the console back to him anyways without it. That must be throwing him off. I didn't notice any pink nail polish on it though.

I tried to explain that to him with pictures and arrows etc but no luck. If it means that much to him I'll find another and ship it to him....sheesh.

I filed a paypal claim - first time I've tried that. Sort of curious to see how it works especially as he has my money and the part. I mentioned not only the blisters in the vinyl on the claim but also the broken cassette tray/armrest hinge and that there was a broken switch blank.

good luck with ebay/paypal. you may get some money back, but its going to take weeks, probably months. i used to work in 'fraud department' there, and i've had to file a claim myself since leaving there. it was a complete joke. even worse than before, i believe. i must have sent a dozen emails that were answered completely weird, like the person at the receiving end didn't speak/read english, and they certainly didn't read my email. i finally called someone i knew that works there and they took control of the complaint process. it still took roughly three months.

i hope your experience is better.

Yep - I sell a couple 944 items on ebay myself so I am partially just viewing this as a experiment as to how easy it is to get a credit
