Question Battery cable terminals??

I tried to find a post/thread on the terminals and for the life of me I cannot find it but the matter was about a special style of terminal needed. I feel a terminal is a terminal but I need to replace mine and thought best to ask the distinguised panel here. Will any terminal at a parts store work or do I focus on a "special" one?

Thanks

Dal

depends on what you want to do, and what you are willing to spend

any of the lead type terminals will perform about the same - they are not the best conductor, but they work

gold terminals, like from phoenix gold, work much better, but a much higher cost

That is EZ there Flash, I want to drive the tires off it after this long winded mechanical affair! I use as a daily/track car and have no additional electronic options, just 2 decent terminals will suffice.

well, i would install a switch at one terminal, since you drive it on the track - you can then tie a pull wire to it and have the "pull off" feature they really like

summit carries these for a very reasonable fee
