87 944 Fuel rail problems?
After just replacing a scorched fuel hose, I noticed my fuel rail is sweating and am now wondering if the fuel rail and not just the old and brittle hose were the cause to the small fire that ended up severing the hose several inches from the rail, thankfully leaving the rest of my engine bay unharmed.
At any rate, I need to replace the fuel rail, but am having difficulty finding a replacement to ensure this daily driver stays on the road. Any Ideas? |

There was a recall about this: http://nhthqnwws112.odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/docservlet/Artemis/Public/Recalls/1990/V/RC-90V061-NN.PDF. Check all hoses. I just changed the short hose from the fuel filter to hard gas line and the "S" hose from the tank to pump as well.

I getting my 700 doller lindsey racing fuel rail kit with billit racing fail, steel braided lines, fittings, guage,adj fuel press regulater,and racing damper because mine was doing the same thing. It is a bad design but i saw a couple on ebay for like $10 one was for $1.99.
