What are you getting for your 944 for Christmas?

Okay, I'll start.

Basically, a 45K mile service.

New plugs, new plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, oil filter and some oil too.
Then I will service the belts. Well, actually I will be servicing the belts first with new ones along with new seals, tensioner, and rollers. While I'm in there, a new water pump too, but you already knew that.

Most parts were purchased from our host here at Pelican.

Merry Christmas and Happy safe New Year!

I bought an early Christmas present for it: a fancy car cover for when it's hibernating. It's also getting a timing belt change when it wakes up. I heart my tax return.

My parents are picking up some nice tires for a birthday/Christmas gift for me to give it, too. I'm sure it will be happy.

New clutch master cylinder. The car gave ME a present by bleeding itself to my surprise!
New hatch shocks.
Fixing its windshield leak.
New windshield wipers.
A new scent - Mango

Superficial stuff, but it'll make it happy.

Mine's a microscopic leak that's leading to some BIG moisture in the car during rain events. I located some liquid silicone sealant at advance auto for $3 that drips down into the crease around the windshield and hardens in about an hour. I tried it on a small section of the leak, and it seemed to work, but I must have another small one I missed as my seat is still wet when afterwards.

If you want a full reseal, call a windshield specialist

New Konis, if the weather ever warms up enough to work on it. Also a rear wiper, if I can ever find the bushings for the wiper mount. already have the snow tires mounted so it's ready for winter duty

968 M030 sway bars - Installed about a week ago and man....what a difference!

The adjustable rear is set at the middle setting but I just might switch it around on Xmas-day.

New clutch master cylinder.

I was inspired by other owners troubles with the clutch master cylinder leaking and failing. It also just recently started sounding like I'm stepping on a duck every time i press the clutch in so I decided to see what's up.
