Stupid question?
 

I think i know the answer to this, but before i go spending more, i just want to confirm.
When i turn on my headlights, the motor makes a sound and the little black knob just spins. and keeps spinning. the lights do not lower or raise.

is this the motor?

check the output shaft of the motor, if its not turning then yes its the motor.
if its is check the hardware at the shaft and the spline

Just watch your fingers very carefully there. Make sure it's unplugged while having your hands near it.

from the title, i thought this was going to be a question about adding a turbo to an NA.... JK!
